WHY CHOOSE THE CHILDREN’S CENTER?

There are several benefits to using The Children's Center to provide care for your child.

  • We are a non-profit facility. This status means that our focus is to provide the best quality care and education of children.
  • To this end, we staff not only to meet the state mandated adult to child ratios, we often exceed them.
  • The Children’s Center is lucky to have three separate rooms designed to offer age appropriate learning and care. Our three rooms are Infant/Toddler, Preschool & After School (through second grade).
  • In addition to offering a daily educational curriculum, we have a large playground for all children as well as a separate playground for toddlers. A large great room is available for play on inclement weather days.

The Children's Center is a mission of the First Congregational Church of Woodstock, whose congregation has a firm commitment to quality childcare for the local community. The Children's Center is non-denominational and you do not need to be a church member to send your child to the Center.

CONTRIBUTE

The Children’s Center is a non-profit program. Our fundraising primarily focuses on our Scholarship Fund, although donations can also be designated for a specific purpose as long as that purpose is within the goals of the Center. Donations can also be made unrestricted to be used as the Board of Directors of The Children's Center sees fit. Some examples of where unrestriced gifts might be used: playground enhancements, books, toys, furniture, educational software or videos, etc.

The Children's Center has a scholarship fund that provides childcare opportunities for families who are unable to pay the full tuition for a variety of reasons. These reasons can be low income, a family in transition, or in crisis. Many community members and local businesses make annual donations to this fund in support of the quality childcare services provided by The Children's Center.

Because The Children's Center is a non-profit facility, donations are tax-deductibe to the fullest extent of the law.
